Description
The Seaspray is a small, friendly, family run B&B guesthouse, with wonderful views from most rooms out across Weymouth Bay. It was originally a Georgian, bow windowed, terraced house, reputedly built for the officers of the Weymouth garrison..
You start the day with an excellent, varied breakfast, with a wide range of fruit, cereals, toast and yoghurt offered, followed by a classic "full English" breakfast or variations on that theme. The dining room looks out across Weymouth Bay.
Brunswick Terrace is virtually on the beach, with just the short cul-de-sac outside to cross, so excellent for families and children.
We are at the more peaceful end of Weymouth Bay, but is less that 10 minutes' walk into the centre of town and the more "active" seaside town attractions.
The rooms are comfortable and en-suite. All have free wifi, TV/DVD, tea and coffee making facilities, clothes hanging and drawer space. We have a mix of a family room (sleeping 3 or 4) a superior double suite, and double rooms. Most rooms have a direct sea view, but the standard double rooms do not face the sea.
Our 5 guest rooms and 1 superior suite are as follows : -
Suite 1 : A stunning spacious suite on the first floor, with a bow window looking out across Weymouth Bay. The double bedroom has a comfortable bed, wardrobe, table and some chairs. There is a good sized bathroom, with shower, toilet, basin and heated towel rail. The lounge has 2 easy chairs, coffee table and 43" TV, plus a table and chairs in the bow window to look out to sea, fridge, coffee/tea making facilities etc.
Room 3 : a larger standard ensuite double room.
Room 4 : a standard ensuite double room.
Room 5 : a sea view ensuite double room.
Room 6 : a sea view small double/single room, with separate private bathroom.
Room 7 : a sea view ensuite family room, with a double and a single bed. An additional single bed for an extra child is possible.
